The sony nex-5n and c3 are pretty much exactly the same size
The most notable difference in form is the bulging (much nicer) handgrip on the nex-5n, touch screen on the back of the nex-5n and 3 extra buttons which means far less digging through menus to get what you want and if you are interested in video, easier control of tracking and focus in the nex-5n's favor.
Possible the most important thing to consider here is the size a
nd weight of lenses, Once you add a prime and a zoom to the kit, the overall kit weight will go up so much any difference in weight or volume between the 5n and the c3 will be so comparatively small that it shouldn't be a consideration.
The decision would be better made on features and price rather than volume or size.
